core.products - Core.web

Much like the core.articles, core.products can contain an unlimited number of content items (products in this case) which can (but don’t have to) be organized into categories. Although similar to the articles thingie, it has a number of specifics that are related only to products, such as: product’s price, discount information, data required for shipping calculations (packaging, weight), stock status, to name just a few.

A common thing these days is to extend this with some kind of payment processing or external payment gateways (hint: core.shop), since you could very well be selling those same products you’ve decided to showcase on your site. And btw. – economics analysts swear online sales should be rocketing in the next couple of years ;-)
